About the Author

           Violeta Matović is a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Belgrade, Master in Security Science, Counter-terrorism Specialist and Bachelor of Economics.
            Since 2004 she has been Director of the National Counter Terrorism Committee, an organization based in Belgrade.
            She is the author of the books “Samoubilački terorizam: kako se postaje mučenik“ [Suicide Terrorism: How one becomes a martyr] (2006), “Suicide Bombers: Who’s Next” (2007), "Mr. Obama, You've Got Mail" (2009), and numerous scientific papers.
